Strong, Stable Dental Implants
Dental implants are strong titanium posts surgically placed into the jawbone to replace missing teeth. Over several months, the implant integrates with the bone through a natural process called osseointegration. Once fully healed, the implant provides a stable foundation to support crowns, bridges, or even full dentures.
With proper care, dental implants are designed to last 30 years or more, offering a long-lasting and reliable solution for tooth replacement.
Why You Need Dental Implants?
Dental implants are typically recommended to replace one or more missing teeth. Unlike other tooth replacement options, implants replace both the visible tooth and its root, providing a strong and stable foundation. Made from biocompatible titanium, implants safely fuse with the jawbone, restoring strength and structure.
Beyond improving the appearance of your smile, dental implants also enhance your ability to chew, speak clearly, and maintain overall oral health.
Implants Restore Confidence and Function
- Natural Look and Feel – Implants closely mimic natural teeth in appearance and function, giving you a seamless, confident smile.
- Improved Speech – Unlike dentures that can slip or shift, implants stay securely in place, helping you speak clearly and naturally.
- Long-Lasting Comfort – Because implants become a permanent part of your mouth, they eliminate the discomfort and irritation often caused by removable dentures.
- Better Chewing Function – Implant-supported teeth restore strength and stability, allowing you to enjoy all your favorite foods without worry.
- Exceptional Durability – With proper care, implants can last for decades—often a lifetime—making them a cost-effective, long-term solution.
Are You a Good Candidate for Dental Implants?
If you’re thinking about dental implants, it’s important to determine if you’re a good candidate. Successful implant healing requires enough healthy, dense bone where the implant will be placed. If there’s significant bone loss, a bone graft may be needed before the implant procedure.
Your overall health also plays a key role—being healthy enough to undergo oral surgery and recover well is essential. Fortunately, most patients who want or need dental implants can safely and successfully complete the treatment.
What to Expect During a Dental Implant Procedure?
The procedure begins with either local anesthesia to numb the area or general anesthesia to put you in a sleep-like state, ensuring your comfort throughout. Once you’re relaxed, we make a small incision in the gum and carefully insert a titanium implant post deep into the jawbone.
After the implant is placed, the site needs time to heal—usually around six months. During this healing phase, the implant naturally fuses with the bone in a process called osseointegration. Once fully healed, we’ll create and attach a custom restoration, such as a crown, bridge, or denture, securely connected to the implant.
