Turning First Visits Into Big Smiles!
The First Visit
When New Teeth Arrive
As your child grows, their smile will go through many changes. We keep track of how their teeth come in and monitor jaw development, bite alignment, and spacing. During teething, your child’s gums may feel sore or tender. You can help soothe their discomfort by gently rubbing the gums with a clean finger, a cool wet cloth, or a teething ring.
These baby teeth will begin to fall out at different stages of childhood. Around age six, permanent teeth start to come in and continue to appear until around age 21. In total, your child will have 28 permanent teeth—32 if wisdom teeth come in. Losing baby teeth and getting adult teeth is a natural process, and we’ll help your child understand what’s happening.
Adopting Healthy Habits
Good dental habits start young! We’ll show your child how to brush and floss properly and explain why it matters—in a way they can understand. We also encourage healthy eating choices and regular dental checkups every six months to keep their teeth strong and clean.
By making oral care part of their daily routine early on, kids are more likely to carry those habits into adulthood.
Preventing Tooth Decay
Cavities are common in children, but with the right care, they’re also easy to prevent.
Tooth decay happens when leftover sugars in the mouth turn into acids that damage teeth. Since many kids and teens don’t always brush and floss properly, they’re more likely to get cavities. Regular brushing, flossing, and dental checkups every six months are key to keeping their teeth healthy.
We offer:
