You can ease their discomfort by gently massaging their gums with a clean finger, using a cool wet cloth, or offering a teething ring.
Baby teeth will begin to fall out at different stages of childhood. Around age six, permanent teeth start to emerge and continue to appear until around age 21. In total, your child will have 28 permanent teeth—32 if wisdom teeth come in.
