Dr. Richa Wahi

Dr. Richa Wahi received her DMD from Boston University Henry M Goldman School of Dental Medicine. She also received her MPH from Columbia University New York and her BDS from Subharti University Meerut, India. Dr. Wahi has also received Invisalign® and Level 1 Sedation certifications.

Dr. Wahi is a member of the Texas Dental Association (TDA) and the American Dental Association (ADA).

Dr. Wahi has received numerous awards for her clinical excellence in dentistry, including:

ADEA ADCFP (Academic Dental Careers Fellowship Program) Fellowship 2015-2016, IADR Lion Dental Research Award 2015 for Behavioral, Epidemiological & Health Research Section, Mailman School of Public Health Award for Good Academic Conduct, and the Best Intern Award for Overall Academic & Extracurricular Excellence in Subharti Dental College.

Besides dental education from one of the best dental schools in the US, Dr. Wahi also has a Master’s from an Ivy League university. She is passionate about her patients and enjoys educating them on the correlation between mouth and body health. She has been on dental missions in India and Kenya to help various communities in need. These experiences have taught her to be more compassionate and caring as a dentist.

Most importantly, she wants patients to know that she has only their best interest at heart and tries to go the extra mile to help them achieve what they want, whether that’s to get out of pain ASAP or get a beautiful smile.

When she’s not helping patients, she enjoys exploring underwater life with snorkeling and scuba diving. She also loves traveling and experiencing different cultures and places. Some of her other passions include fostering animals in need and volunteering at dental societies and community events.

Since she was a kid, she was very artistic and loved painting and using her hands to create. She was also very interested in science, and her parents encouraged her in the field. Dentistry combined both of her interests while enabling her to help people, which is why she knew this was the right career choice. “Interacting with different people every day and making them smile is so unique and rewarding.”
