Dr. Amir El-Hassan
Immediately following graduation, he completed one year of service at the Dental Department of the Military Hospital in Omdurman, Sudan.
Upon arrival in the US, he acquired his US dental degree (DDS) from UCSF (international dentist program) in San Francisco, CA. He then practiced as a general practitioner for close to ten years before joining the UTHSC Memphis dental school prosthodontics program, where he graduated with a master’s degree in dental science and a degree in Prosthodontics. He then joined the UAB (Birmingham, AL) Department of restorative sciences as an assistant professor in the division of prosthodontics. After two years of teaching, he decided to move to his current residence in Texas.
Dr. El-Hassan enjoys delivering beautiful smiles to his patients as he practices his lifelong passion for Prosthodontics.
Dr. El-Hassan is married to his wife Nada (a rheumatologist) and a father of 4 lovely children. When not working, Dr. El-Hassan enjoys Painting, spending time with his family, and watching his boys play soccer.
